Induction

It can be scary to leave the protected environment of University and enter the workplace – sometimes for the first time. What support will you receive as you transition into the business?

Your induction to PepsiCo starts long before you actually join us.

Once you've accepted an offer to PepsiCo, you'll be invited to join our Student Facebook group, where you can get to know the other students in your cohort. It's a handy place to ask questions and get advice.

When Spring arrives, you'll be invited to an Orientation Day. You'll spend the morning learning more about the business and the team you'll be joining. We usually arrange something fun in the afternoon where you can relax and get to know each other better. This is usually the point when people start thinking about living arrangements. Lots of our students team up and rent houses together. Our current students can give you advice on the best places to live.

We'll be in regular contact in the run up to your start date, and your new manager will have planned out your first few weeks to help you settle in.

You'll be paired up with a Buddy and a Mentor. Your Buddy is there to help you during your first few months, and get you up to speed with how everything works. Your Mentor is there to make sure that you are getting what you need from your placement, and can offer you more detailed advice, coaching and support.

If you join us as an MBA or on a summer placement, your onboarding experience will be similar, but done on a more condensed timescale!
