Selection process
Once the closing date passes, our recruiters and functional teams start reviewing the applications to select the strongest candidates. This is what happens next.
Phase 1 – Screening
Each function has a team of people who help throughout the process (many of whom were PepsiCo students themselves). During the screening stage, the teams get together to collectively review all the applications and select a shortlist of candidates that they would like to meet.
Phase 2 – First Interviews
The functional teams head off to campuses around the country to meet the candidates face-to-face. These interviews are friendly and informal, and are designed to help us really understand your academic and work experiences to date. A select group of candidates will be invited along to the next stage.
Phase 3 – Assessment
You'll be invited to our UK Head Office, in Theale (near Reading), for a day-long assessment. Before you arrive, you'll be asked to complete some online psychometric tests to assess your verbal, numerical and inductive reasoning skills.
On the day itself, you'll get to meet lots of PepsiCo people. You'll take part in a number of different interviews and exercises. You'll also get to quiz our current students on their experiences and get a real understanding of what it's like to work here.
Phase 4 – Offer
The candidates that meet our high standards will usually be offered a role within 24 hours of their assessment. The people that aren't successful will be offered detailed feedback and interview advice to help them prepare for future assessments.
